Living in Beijing for the past decade, I have witnessed a rapid growth of economy. With the improvement of infrastructure and people's demand for buildings, buildings have gradually covered the original traditional buildings and green lands in Beijing. The garden where I used to go as a child is now an office building. Facing such a dramatic change, I often feel that the city is beginning to get unfamiliar. In this painting, I painted a train leaving the city at high speed, as if my childhood memories are being taken away together.
